Mr. Feliu is a highly regarded arbitrator and mediator based in New York City. Mr. Feliu was a partner at the international law firm, Paul Hastings, when he began his own firm in 1998 to expand his dispute resolution practice. He formed Feliu Neutral Services, LLC, in 2016.  Mr. Feliu is a long-time panelist on the AAA's Complex Commercial, Employment, and Class Action Panels as well as CPR's Employment and Commercial Law Panels.

Mr. Feliu is the author or co-editor of four books, including ADR in Employment Law, published in 2015 with a supplement published in 2017, and Resolving Employment Disputes Without Litigation, published in 1988.  He  has served frequently as a faculty member on the AAA’s arbitration and mediation training programs for arbitrators, mediators, and dispute resolution practitioners.  Mr. Feliu is a Fellow with both the College of Commercial Arbitrators and the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.  He is also the former Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Feliu served as an arbitrator for the federal court in Brooklyn (EDNY) from 1991 to 2015 and has been a volunteer mediator with the Southern District of New York since 1993.  Mr. Feliu serves on the AAA's Master Mediator Panel.  Mr. Feliu was appointed by then Governor Cuomo to serve on the New York State Human Rights Law Arbitration Advisory Committee in 1990 and served until 1998.

Claims and issues resolved in Mr. Feliu's commercial and employment arbitration awards include: general commercial disputes; discrimination and harassment; executive compensation and stock and incentive compensation disputes; breach of contract; sports contract disputes; professional organization disputes and break-ups; breach of shareholder and partnership agreements; just cause and good reason terminations; enforcement of non-competition and related agreements; ERISA rights and obligations; statutory wage actions; breach of fiduciary duty and the duty of loyalty; breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing; attorneys’ fees applications; fraud; and unjust enrichment. He has also arbitrated and mediated a number of wage and hour class actions and FLSA collective actions.

Mr. Feliu has mediated a broad variety of employment-related claims on behalf of the American Arbitration Association, the Federal courts, and on an ad hoc basis. He has mediated individual as well as multi-party and class action claims and has served under the terms of a dispute resolution program established as part of the settlement of a large pattern and practice race and sex discrimination case. Cases resolved include actions alleging: general commercial disputes; sexual harassment; race, sex, age, national origin and disability discrimination; FLSA and state wage and hour claims; Sarbanes-Oxley violations; ERISA claims; wrongful discharge; breach of contract; and executive compensation claims.
